OOTD#1&2 Christmas Party and Christmas Eve

Hi Everyone, It's been more than a month since I posted  here in my blog. Sorry, I'd been so busy at work and also lost my camera that I used in taking pictures. But it's okay, I know I would receive something better in exchange for that.

Anyways, before anything else, I would like to greet y'all a Happy Holidays! It's better to greet late than never, right? Indeed, this is the busiest, costly but exciting time of the year. There are several Christmas parties that we have to attend. I'm sure, we all thinking about "what are we going to wear?". So, without further delay, let me show you what I wore during this Christmas season! :)

During company's Christmas party
Tops: Plain&Prints
Skirt: from online shop in fb Fièvre! I love it!:)
Here's a closer look:

Shoes: Pump heels Primadonna

Bag: Ninewest
Necklace/Belt: SM accessories @ SM Department Store
Earings and Bracelet: c/o Divisoria hehe :)

Christmas Eve outfit

Since I'm just celebrating the Christmas Eve with my family, I'd thought of wearing something simple but very girly green dress. My bf gave me this yellow bag that he bought in the World Trade Center, during their Christmas bazaar. I don't know where he bought this dress but I love it. The sandals are from Charles&Keith.

Thank you sweetie for my picture

XOXO,

Marian

Visited: Restaurant -- A Taste of L.A Cafe

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to share with you guys the restaurant where my Mr. Awesome and I have our dinner date during our 2nd anniversary. Yes, we had just celebrated our 2nd birthday as a couple and looking forward to spend many more years with him.

Anyway, going back to the restaurant, my Mr. Awesome chooses to spend our dinner date at "A Taste of L. A Café". An old house turned into a cozy restaurant. This place is located at 171 A. Roces Ave. Cor. Tomas Marato Quezon City.

photo by: websushidesign.com

It's a bit old but still a good option if you are looking for a fine dine atmosphere.

The following are the list and the perspective price of what we've ordered:

-French Onion Soup --- Php310.00
-Hainanese Chicken --- Php400.00
-Grilled Blue Marline Steak --- Php380.00
-Spicy Duck Pizza --- Php490.00

The price ranges from Php300.00 and up. Yup, it is expensive for me and oh, it has an additional charge for their services, of course there is! lol!. I heard some are not satisfied with regard to the service from the waiters, but with all fairness, during our date, the waiters were so nice, accommodating and very attentive. I don't know, maybe we're just lucky hehe.

In terms of food, gosh I loved it! Promise! Specially the Pppiiiiiiiiizza! It is so delicious. The ultra thin crust pizza with thick melted cheese and burst with some flavor from the spices, really a mouthwatering, I will definitely re-order this one. The Hainanese Chicken and Grilled Blue Marline Steak are the best also, really delicious and worthy of the price. I just got a little disappointed with the French Onion Soup, I don't like it. I prefer the old chicken soup or mushroom soup.

What I also liked about the place is the ambiance; it's so dim, quiet and romantic. By the way, this is also a good place to dine with your friends. There is a certain place for a group who liked to be in an air-conditioned room or for those groups of friends who smoked, so that the non-smoker will not be bothered.

We will definitely go back again and try some of their dishes. I heard the So-Like-Rockefellah is good too. Ooopps, of course Spicy Duck Pizza again. Gosh I'm craving! ( hehehe ).

Till my next review.....

Godbless!

Perhaps, everybody loves birthdays, and who does forget that day? It’s always been a tradition for us that we celebrate our own or other people’s natal day. Besides, no one like to forget that, right? Neutrogena Deep Clean Ultra Foam Cleanser in Revitalizing Pink Grapefruit

Skin type:
 oily/combination

Product price: 307.50
Place of bought: SM Centerpoint/Watson

Hi Everyone! This review is about the Revitalizing Pink Grapefruit of Neutrogena Deep Clean Ultra Foam Cleanser.

The Neutrogena deep clean ultra foam cleanser comes in two (2) variants: Revitalizing Pink Grapefruits and Brightening Mulberry. I am really torn between the two and having a difficulty to decide what to buy. At first, I was about to pick the Brightening Mulberry because of its brightening effect, as the product says; but I choose to try out the revitalizing pink grapefruits, simply because at that moment I felt so stressed and thinking that I need a cell renewal effect. I’ve been using this product for a month now.

Revitalizing pink grapefruits says...

Developed with dermatologists, the innovative new formula contains leading Neutrogena Deep Clean Technology that effectively removes 99% of dullness-causing dirt, oil, impurities and dead skin cells from the skin with a velvety fine foam, as well as an Anti-Oxidant Pink Grapefruit Extracts that helps stimulate healthy cell renewal.

  • non-comodegenic
  • oil-free
  • dermatology tested
  • alcohol free
What I Like:
  • No sting harsh feeling while using;
  • My skin feels so clean and fresh after using;
  • I love the citrus scent;
  • It doesn't dry up my skin;
  • The bottle comes-up with a pump that makes it easy to dispense;
  • Locally available;
  • Can easily remove light make-up;
  • The most important is my skin doesn't break out!
What I don't like:
  • Nothing!
Final Verdict:

I so love this product 100%! --As what I always said, I have a very sensitive and acne prone skin; that is why, it is very crucial for me to find a product that can suit my skin sensitivity. This revitalizing pink grapefruits from Neutrogena did not fail me. Another hooray for Neutrogena!♥♥♥
Check out their fan page ---> Nuetrogena Philippines

Repurchase?
Of course, but I would like to try the other one, which is the Brightening Mulberry.

Recommend it?
100 percent YES!

See you all on my next review! Take care and Godbless! ♥

Nichido- Mineral Kohl Pencil in ONYX (review)

Skin Type: Oily/Combination
Place of bought: SM Centerpoint/Watson
Price: 138php

Hi Everyone! My first ever review; the Nichido eyeliner pencil in Onyx. I remembered back in high school, whenever I came to visit my aunt's house I always ask her to put an eyeliner on my waterline and when it's done, I felt so dalaga na (arte lang)  ! hehe. Anyway, going back to the Nichido black eyeliner in Onyx; I first saw it on YouTube with Ms. Say Channel,. Being so curious on how pigmented it is, I decided to buy one

Here's a video of Ms. Say using this the eyeliner to line her upper eyelash.
Isn't she's pretty and uhgmeizing (amazing) ? Diba? I ♥ watching her videos.

Here's a picture of a Nichido- Mineral Khol pencil in Onyx:
It stated on the right picture that this pencil is a water resistant.

 You can see in the first picture how pigmented it is.
At the center of the picture, you notice that I sprayed a little amount of water to test if it's really what this eyeliner claimed to be. Unfortunately, on the last picture as you will see, it smudges a bit.

Here's a sample picture of my eyes. Sorry for the eye-bags guys, I was still up till 2:30am last night and wake up at around 7am, I am not really feeling well. Truly, the eyes are the mirror of your soul. They are too honest in aught to disguise whenever how you feel or what you really feel.
I applied it on my upper and lower eyelash

Pros:
  • Very affordable and locally available;
  • Very pigmented and very rich in color;
  • Can easily apply it on your eyelid to make a pin-up look and even on your lower lash line to make your eyes look bigger;
  • Has a pretty good lasting power.
Cons:
  • Be careful not to touch your eyes for it has a tendency to smudge;
  • It is not that water resistant as what the product claimed;
  • When washing your face, it has a tendency to leave your eyes like you have a (black eye) so be sure to remove it perfectly.

Final Verdict:

I love how pigmented the product is even with just one glide. I don't really mind if it can easily rub off for i can handle it.

Repurchase and Recommend it?
Definitely Yes!

See you all on my next review! Take care and Godbless! ♥

XOXO,
Marian

Introduction

Hi Everyone! Good day! As you would all know, this is my first ever blog waaaaaaah finally! Well, first, for an introduction of myself; my name is Joanna Marian, my friends and relatives used to call me Joanna or Jonna for short. But here in my blog I prefer to be called Marian  for a change (wink)  . I will be turning 27 in over a week from now; yeah I’m not getting younger anymore. I have a fair complexion, 5’3 in height, my skin type is oily-combination and very sensitive.

In terms of make-ups, honestly, I’m a newbie. That is why; I decided to look for a review of a different product or make-ups before I put anything on my face. In doing this almost every day, I just found myself getting obsessed in different make-ups and wanting to do a review also on what am I using. With this, I can help my co-beauty junkee to find products that are worth a penny.

Also, I want to give credit to our local blogger who never stop searching for a good product and always giving us their honest opinion/reviews. Indeed, they are really aahhhmaaazing!

Anyway, it’s already 1:30am and its time for me to rest. See you on my first product review! It is about Nichido-Mineral Kohl pencil in ONYX. Have a good night sleep everyone! Godbless!

XOXO,
Marian ♥
