Review: Etude House - Happy teatime cleansing cream

Hi Girls! This review has been on my draft list since January. I guess getting lazy in taking pictures in every detail is my problem (pardon me for that) :). Well, anyways... going back to the subject. We ladies love putting makeup, right? Others do put makeup like it is a part of their everyday routine especially when working. In my case, I am working in a company which promote beauty and wellness that is why we are encouraged to wear makeup like every day! Having said that, before, I just removed my make up using a facial wash, but I think that is not enough. So I decided to get a ponds cold cream. Unfortunately, my face gotten so itchy and red which makes me think that  this cleanser is not for me.Last December,  one my colleagues give me this Happy teatime cleansing cream from Etude House. At first, I was a bit hesitant to use it because of my past experience in Ponds cold cream, but because of being skincare junkie and my curiosity always strike I tested it.

Please continue reading...

Price P198.00

From Etude House website ----> Washable makeup removal cream has light texture with low oil content for women 20's-30's. Smooth spreadable texture ideal for facial massage for women 40+ .

Pros:
  • Moisturizing
  • Remove my makeup well
  • Smells so nice
  • Cute packaging

My experience:

Unlike the other cream that I used this Happy Teatime AloeTea Cleansing Cream does not leave my skin itchy or red but it does cause me to break out. Uhg! Which leads me to believe that I have an allergy or I am not into any cleansing cream.

Thank you for reading! :)
See you all on my next review!
Take care and Allah bless!

ZENutrients All-Natural LIP SCRUB (review)

One of the many important beauty regimen that we tend to ignore is taking care of our lips and I am not exempt to that. Your lips are the first thing that will give you a sign when you're dehydrated or will get affected on any changed of weather by showing signs of dryness and flakiness.  Sometimes we are more focused on exfoliating and moisturizing our skin and forget that our lips need it also.

Now let me share you my experience with ZENutrients All-Natural LIP SCRUB.

15grams
Php225.00
Made in the Philippines

From ZENutrients Website and  Facebook Page---->  Contains exfoliating beads to help remove the layers of accumulated dried up saliva, even embedded food particles and smoke residue. With Shea butter, beeswax, honey and natural bioethylene beads from sugar cane.

Direction of use : Use regularly for beautiful, soft and kissable lips.

Sorry for my lips. I know I don't have beautiful lips and it is extremely dry.
The reason why I cannot wear matte lipstick. :(

After using ZENutients LIP SCRUB

I Say

  • This product gently exfoliates the dryness in your lips;
  • It doesn't feel sticky;
  • Make your lips feels soft and supple;
  • No sting feeling when rubbing off into your lips;
  • The ingredients are All Natural (No Harsh Chemicals);
  • Smells sweet;
  • Taste a bit of a honey;
  •  I like the packaging, as you can see in the first photo it comes in a 6 sided polygon glass tub with a metal lid.

ADVICE:

  • Best to use at night;
  • You can apply any lip balm to keep your lips moisturized;
  • Be careful not to leave the jar side by side because in my experience the "liquid thing" (I'm not sure what it is, maybe its the honey)  that you found at the bottom of the product will accumulate on the top of the scrub. Please see the photo below.

Would I recommend it?

Yes na Yes!

Maybelline HYPERCURL VOLUM' EXPRESS (waterproof) Cat Eyes (review)

Hi Everyone! Today I will be reviewing a Mascara From Maybelline. This will be my first ever mascara review and I'm so excited (high pitch). :)

Now, Let me present you, MAYBELLINE HYPERCURL VOLUM' EXPRESS (waterproof) CAT EYES.

As you can see in the above photo the wand had a spiky comb style.

From  Maybelline Website, this mascara will give you:

  • 5x Wild Volume, without the clumps!
  • 18 hours wild-eyed curls
  • 75-degree curl with Maybelline's unique curl lock formula
I say:
  • I loved this Mascara. I really love how it turns my tired looking eyes to almost doll looking eyes;
  • It gives you a dramatic cat eye look;
  • Gives your eyelashes a dramatic volume;
  • It gives you a longer looking eyelashes;
  • Yes, as what the website says, it does gives your lashes a curl without using an eyelash curler.
  • The spiky-comb wand, works on reaching the inner corner of my lashes.
Below are my photos using this Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara

My bare lashes

One coat without curling

Two coats without curling

Just two coats and you will see how it lengthens and gives volume to my lashes.

Selfie of the day! LOL

Would I recommend it!

Yes! For those who want dramatic eyelashes.

Advice:
Wipe the wand first to avoid eyelash clamping. You might also find it hard to remove afterwards since its a waterproof mascara, so I suggest to use an eye make-up remover.

See you all on my next review! Take care and God bless!

XOXO,
Marian :)

OOTD#1&2 Christmas Party and Christmas Eve

Hi Everyone, It's been more than a month since I posted  here in my blog. Sorry, I'd been so busy at work and also lost my camera that I used in taking pictures. But it's okay, I know I would receive something better in exchange for that.

Anyways, before anything else, I would like to greet y'all a Happy Holidays! It's better to greet late than never, right? Indeed, this is the busiest, costly but exciting time of the year. There are several Christmas parties that we have to attend. I'm sure, we all thinking about "what are we going to wear?". So, without further delay, let me show you what I wore during this Christmas season! :)

During company's Christmas party
Tops: Plain&Prints
Skirt: from online shop in fb Fièvre! I love it!:)
Here's a closer look:

Shoes: Pump heels Primadonna

Bag: Ninewest
Necklace/Belt: SM accessories @ SM Department Store
Earings and Bracelet: c/o Divisoria hehe :)

Christmas Eve outfit

Since I'm just celebrating the Christmas Eve with my family, I'd thought of wearing something simple but very girly green dress. My bf gave me this yellow bag that he bought in the World Trade Center, during their Christmas bazaar. I don't know where he bought this dress but I love it. The sandals are from Charles&Keith.

Thank you sweetie for my picture

XOXO,

Marian

Visited: Restaurant -- A Taste of L.A Cafe

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to share with you guys the restaurant where my Mr. Awesome and I have our dinner date during our 2nd anniversary. Yes, we had just celebrated our 2nd birthday as a couple and looking forward to spend many more years with him.

Anyway, going back to the restaurant, my Mr. Awesome chooses to spend our dinner date at "A Taste of L. A Café". An old house turned into a cozy restaurant. This place is located at 171 A. Roces Ave. Cor. Tomas Marato Quezon City.

photo by: websushidesign.com

It's a bit old but still a good option if you are looking for a fine dine atmosphere.

The following are the list and the perspective price of what we've ordered:

-French Onion Soup --- Php310.00
-Hainanese Chicken --- Php400.00
-Grilled Blue Marline Steak --- Php380.00
-Spicy Duck Pizza --- Php490.00

The price ranges from Php300.00 and up. Yup, it is expensive for me and oh, it has an additional charge for their services, of course there is! lol!ッ. I heard some are not satisfied with regard to the service from the waiters, but with all fairness, during our date, the waiters were so nice, accommodating and very attentive. I don't know, maybe we're just lucky heheッ.

In terms of food, gosh I loved it! Promise! Specially the Pppiiiiiiiiizza! It is so delicious. The ultra thin crust pizza with thick melted cheese and burst with some flavor from the spices, really a mouthwatering, I will definitely re-order this one. The Hainanese Chicken and Grilled Blue Marline Steak are the best also, really delicious and worthy of the price. I just got a little disappointed with the French Onion Soup, I don't like it. I prefer the old chicken soup or mushroom soup.

What I also liked about the place is the ambiance; it's so dim, quiet and romantic. By the way, this is also a good place to dine with your friends. There is a certain place for a group who liked to be in an air-conditioned room or for those groups of friends who smoked, so that the non-smoker will not be bothered.

We will definitely go back again and try some of their dishes. I heard the So-Like-Rockefellah is good too. Ooopps, of course Spicy Duck Pizza again. Gosh I'm craving! ( hehehe ).

Till my next review.....

Godbless!

XOXO,
Marianッ♥
